These are just a couple of pictures of the family dog Cody. The picture quality isn’t great, as they were scanned in. He was about five months old when the pictures were taken. He’s nearly two now, and he still hasn’t learned any sense!

These are some photos of my trip to Ailefroide in the southern French Alps in 2003. I had hoped to do some climbing, but unfortunately the massive heatwave engulfing Europe at that time put an end to that: most of the snow was gone by the time I arrived!
Cork is the city where I lived from the age of ten to twenty-six. It has a distressing habit of getting flooded about once every four to five years. The last flood, in 2004, was particularly spectacular: so much so that I’ve kept a copy of one of the local papers’ front page here.
